TSI has announced end of service for the PortaCount 8030 and 8038, with calibration support ending in 2030. Ending support 10 to 15 years after an instrument's release has become a pattern. The PortaCount 8040 and 8048, released in late 2020, are now approaching that window.
OHD has never discontinued service or support on any fit testing instrument we have manufactured. We still service and calibrate units that are 20+ years old. That is a commitment our customers can count on for the full life of their equipment.

Yes. AeroFit tests both disposable N95 respirators and elastomeric respirators, just like the PortaCount 8038 and 8048. Note that the PortaCount 8030 and 8040 cannot test filtering facepiece respirators with a filter efficiency less than 99%, which means they cannot fit test N95s.
